My second mental measurement was called ACER Applied Reading Test. Its purpose was to measure the ability to read and understand material. The test took approximately 40-45 minutes to complete. The test was intended for selecting adult applicants in training programs who need remedial reading instruction. The test included six passages and the answers could not be determined without reading the passages. The passages were written at a high reading level. After receiving the scores, reliability of the test is low. No test taker finished the exam completely within the testing time given. For validity the correlation of the test is relevant to the correlation of a IRT sample. Review of the ACER Applied Reading Test was a group administered test was designed to assess the reading comprehension for successful technical occupations.The test is now up to date and is measured to understand technical reading material . Its strength include good reliability and high correlation of the a test of the same concept.

It also measured the readiness of students and identifies children too immature for kindergarten or 1st grade. Its designed for preschoolers who will be moving up to kindergarten. The scale should be completed in ten minutes. Its divided up in to four sections. It'[s potential usefulness to students isn't determined and it awaits proper reliability and validity studies.

The goal was to provide a proper evaluation of the person's skills. The target people was moderate and severe retarded and autistic individuals with a total of three scales.
